Title: Angel Crisps Categories: Desserts Yield: 4 Servings 1/2 c Sugar 1/2 c Brown sugar 1 c Shortening 1 Egg 1 ts Vanilla 1 ts Cream of tartar 2 c Flour 1/2 ts Salt 1 ts Baking soda Cream sugar, brown sugar and shortening. Add vanilla and egg. Blend until fluffy. Add the dry ingredients; blend. Roll teaspoonfuls into balls. Dip into water and then into granulated sugar.
