Title: Apple Date Torte Categories: Apples, Desserts, Fruit, Part of spe Yield: 6 Servings 4 c Apples; unpared/diced 1 c Sugar 1/2 c Flour 2 ts Baking powder 1 Egg 1 tb Butter; melted 1 ts Vanilla 1/2 c Nuts 1/2 c Dates; cut up Whipped cream; whipped -topping, OR ice cream Combine all ingredients except whipped cream in order given. Stir but do not beat. Pour into greased 8" square pan. BAke at 400 F. for 40 minutes. Serve with whipped cream, topping or ice cream. Recipe by: R.
