Title: Bacon Cheese Biscuits Categories: S_living, Breads, Dairy Yield: 1 Servings 2 c Self-rising flour 1/2 c Shortening 1/2 c (about 2 ounces ) shredded -cheddar cheese 3/4 c Plus 2 tb Milk 1/4 c Chopped green onions 4 sl Bacon; cooked and crumbled Christmas. Combine flour and shortening; cut in shortening with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add cheese, milk, onions, and bacon, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead lightly 4 or 5 times.Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness; cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
