Title: Bak-O-Bayou Salad Categories: Kosher, Salads Yield: 6 Servings 1 Head Iceberg lettuce 1 Bunch watercress 2 Creole tomatoes, cut into>> Wedges. 1 Med. onion, sliced 1/2 Clove garlic, crushed 1/2 c Mayonnaise 1 1/2 tb Anchovy paste 1 1/2 tb Tarragon vinegar 1 1/2 ts Lemon juice 3 tb Chopped parsley Pareve imitation bacon bits Tear lettuce into lge. pcs. and cut watercress into sm. pcs. Place lettuce, watercress, and tomatoes in a bowl. Separate onion slices into rings and add to lettuce mixture. Chill. Blend garlic with mayo. and anchovy paste in a bowl, then stir in vinegar and lemon juice slowly. Add parsley and chill. Pour dressing over lettuce mixture and garnish with imitation bacon bits.
