1/2 lb Ground beef
2 tb Butter

From Mickey's Gourmet Cookbook, which is terrific! Steerman's Quarters,
Disney Village Marketplace Saute all vegs in butter until tender. In
separate pan, cook beef; drain. Add to vegs. Add bases, water and barley;
simmer 30 mins. Season with salt and pepper.
