Title: Blue Ribbon Apple Bread Categories: Breads & ro, To post Yield: 1 Servings 3 c Butter Or Margarine 1 1/4 c Sugar 4 Eggs 1 1/2 c Canned Apple Sauce 1/4 c Milk 4 c Flour; sifted 2 ts Baking Powder 2 ts Baking Soda 1 ts Salt 1 tb Grated Lemon Rind; 1" thick 1 c Chopped Nuts Pecan 1/2 c Chopped Raisins 1/2 c Chopped Dates Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a tme. Stir in apple sauce and milk. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to apple sauce mixture and mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into 2 greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until bread tests done. Cool on rack for 10 minutes. Remove bread from pan and cool.
