Title: Candy Bar Fudge Categories: Candy, Desserts, Holidays Yield: 1 Servings 1/2 c Butter 1/3 c Baking cocoa 1/4 c Packed brown sugar 1/4 c Milk 3 1/2 c Confectioner's sugar 1 ts Vanilla 30 Caramels; unwrapped 1 tb Water 2 c Salted peanuts 1/2 c Semi-sweet chocolate pieces 1/2 c Milk chocolate chips In a microwabe safe bowl, combine butter, cocoa, brown sugar and milk. Micorwave on high 'til mixture boils (3 min or longer). Stir in confectioner's sugar and vanilla. Pour into a greased 8 inch square baking pan. In another micro safe bowl, combine unwrapped caramels and water. Heat on high until caramels melt - about 2 minutes. Stir in peanuts and spread over fudge layer. Microwave chocolate pieces and chips until melted (1 1/2 minutes or so). Spread over caramel layer. Chill until firm. Make 2 3/4 pounds of fudge. Keep refrigerated until eaten.
