Title: Cheesy Vegetable Soup

1 cn (14oz.) mixed vegetables;
-drained
1/4 c Margarine
1/2 c Flour
3/4 c Milk
1/8 ts Pepper
1 cn (10oz.) chicken broth
1 Jar (8oz.) processed cheese
-spread
1 1/2 ts Mustard
1/2 c Beer (optional; but adds
-great flavor)

Sauté onion in margarine. Blend in flour and pepper. Stir in milk
gradually. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Add remaining ingredients
and heat thoroughly. Add beer after all other ingredients are well blended
and heated.

Serve with rolls and a fruit for a wonderful meal.
