Title: Chicken Tacos2 Categories: None Yield: 6 Servings 12 Taco shells 2 tb Vegetable oil 1 md Onion; chopped 1 Clove garlic; chopped 2 c Cooked chicken; chopped 1 ts Cumin 1/2 ts Dried oregano Salt and pepper 1 1/2 c Sharp cheddar cheese; grated Taco sauce Tomatoes; chopped Lettuce; shredded 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place taco shells in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Place in oven for 5 minutes to crisp. 2. Meanwhile, in a large frying pan, heat oil and cook onion until softened, 2 to 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1 minute. Add chicken and season with cumin, oregano, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook until heated through. 3. Fill shells halfway with filling, top each with about 2 tablespoons cheese and taco sauce, tomatoes, and lettuce to taste.
