Title: Chinese Almond Cookies Categories: Formed, Christmas Yield: 60 Servings 3/4 c Sugar 3/4 c Butter 2 tb Water 1 ts Almond extract 1 Egg 2 1/2 c Flour 1 ts Baking powder 1/4 ts Salt 1/2 c Almonds; whole Preheat oven to 350ø Cream butter and sugar, add egg, water and extract. Mix in dry ingredients except almonds. Roll cookies in 1 inch balls and flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Top each cookie with almond. Bake for 8-10 minutes do not over brown, cool completely.
