Title: Chinese Spicy Chicken (Le Tze Gee) Categories: Chicken, Chinese Yield: 4 Servings 1/3 c Oil 2 Whole chicken breasts 1 tb Sherry 1 tb Soy sauce 1 tb Cornstarch 1 cn Bamboo shoots; diced 2 tb Hoisin sauce 1/2 ts Red pepper; crushed 1 tb Scallion; chopped 1 ts Fresh ginger root; grated Bone chicken and cube it. Mix sherry, soy sauce and cornstarch. Marinate chicken in cornstarch mixture for 15 minutes. Heat oil. Add chicken cornstarch mixture and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Remove chicken. Add bamboo shoots, hoisin sauce, scallion, ginger and crushed red peppers. Stir well; add chicken and serve.
