Title: Chocolate Almond Glaze Categories: Frosting Yield: 1 Servings 2/3 pk (6-oz) Nestle Toll House -semi-sweet chocolate -morsels 1/3 c Heavy cream 1/4 c Butter 1 c Sifted confectioners' sugar 1 ts Almond extract Chopped toasted almonds -(optional) In small saucepan, combine Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels, heavy cream and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until morsels are melted and mixture is smooth. Transfer to small bowl; cool 15 minutes. Gradually add confectioners' sugar and almond extract; beat well. Perfect for angel food or sponge cake. Pour over cake while glaze is still warm. Garnish with chopped toasted almonds, if desired. Chill to set glaze. Makes 1-1/4 cups glaze.
