Title: Chocolate Orange Torte Categories: Dessert Yield: 8 Servings 4 oz Semisweet chocolate 1/2 c Unsalted butter; softened 2/3 c Sugar 3 Eggs 1 c Ground almonds 1/4 c Bread crumbs 1 Orange; zest of Almonds; for garnish ------------------------------CHOCOLATE GLAZE------------------------------ 2 oz Unsweetened chocolate 2 oz Semisweet chocolate 1/4 c Unsalted butter 2 ts Honey From: "Janet R. Starosta" Date: Fri, 11 Nov 1994 06:11:01 GMT Preheat oven to 375. Butter an 8-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with buttered waxed paper. Melt chocolate in the top of a double boiler. Cool. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter until fluffy. Add sugar and eggs. Stir in melted chocolate, ground almonds, bread crumbs, and orange zest. Pour batter into pan and bake 25-30 minutes.
