Chocolate Raisin Fingers
Title: Chocolate Raisin Fingers Categories: None Yield: 1 Servings 1 c Seedless raisins 3/4 c Butter or margarine 4 Squares semisweet chocolate; -melted Grated rind of 1 orange 1 tb Corn syrup 1 c Roughly crumbled angel-food -or sponge cake Here's a chocolate recipe from The Encyclopedia of Creative Cooking with thanks, again. Cover raisins with boiling water; leave about 3 minutes to plump. Drain; dry. Soften butter; add chocolate, orange rind, and syrup to cake crumbs. add raisins; mix well. Press into oblong shape, about 1/2-inch thick, onto greased paper. Chill until set; cut into fingers. Garnish with slivers of orange peel (orange part only.)
