Title: Chocolate Squares Categories: Not, Sent Yield: 12 Servings 3/4 c Sugar 1/2 c Butter; room temperature 2 Eggs 1/2 c Unbleached all-purpose -flour, sifted 1 oz Unsweetened chocolate; -melted 1 ts Vanilla 1 c Chopped walnuts or pecans; -optional Preheat the oven to 350°. Lightly butter an 8-inch square pan. In a medium-size bowl, cream the sugar and butter. Add the eggs and mix well. Gradually add the flour, incorporating well. Add the melted chocolate, vanilla and nuts. Stir just to combine. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes. Allow to cool in the pan, then cut into squares.
