Title: Cholent Kugel Categories: None Yield: 1 Servings 3 Onions; finely chopped 8 tb Oil 2 tb Margarine 1 1/2 c Self-rising flour 1 Egg 1/2 ts Salt 1 ds Pepper 1 Cooking bag Saute onions in oil and margarine. In a large bowl, put flour, fried onion (including oil), egg, salt and pepper. Mix and knead dough. It should be fairly elastic. If necessary add a few teaspoonsful of water. Put mixture into cooking bag and shape into a log. Punch a few holes into the bag and add to the cholent. When serving cholent, remove kugel from bag and serve separately, sliced.
