Title: Chutney Cracker Spread

Yield: 12 Servings

8 oz Fat-free cream cheese;
-softened
2 tb Nonfat sour cream
1 ts Curry powder
1/2 c Green onions; sliced
1/2 c Unsalted peanuts;
-dry-roasted, chopped
9 oz Chutney
Assorted reduced-fat
-crackers

Seeing I haven't posted in quite a while, I thought that I would post
lowfat from the Taste of Home Lowfat Country Cooking. Out of 455 recipes I
only have 44 formatted. Plan on formatting the rest this week. Hope you all
enjoy these.

In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream and curry powder
until smooth. Fold in the onions and peanuts. Spread about 1/2 inch thick
on a serving plate. Chill. Just before serving, pour chutney over all.
Serve with crackers.

Yield: 1 1/2 cups

NOTES : Store-bought chutney makes this savory spread a delicious
alternative to the usual cheese spread. Plus, it can be whipped up in no
time.
