Title: Cinnamon Apples Categories: Fruits, Desserts, Relishes Yield: 6 Servings 6 Tart apples 18 Cloves 1 c Sugar 2 tb Red cinnamon drops 1 1/2 c Water Core and pare tart apples. Stick each with 2 or 3 cloves. For 6 apples, cook together for 5 minutes 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons red cinnamon drops, and 1 1/2 cups water. Add apples, simmer until tender but not mushy.
