Classic Tomato Salsa
Title: Classic Tomato Salsa Categories: Sauces, Southwester Yield: 1 Servings 1 sm Onion; chopped 1 Clove garlic; minced 3 c Peeled chopped tomatoes 1 Jalapeno pepper; minced 1 Lime 1/4 c Cilantro or parsley; chopped 1/2 ts Salt In a small bowl, combine onion and garlic. Pour enough boiling water over to cover. Let stand 2 minutes and drain. Add tomatoes, pepper, 1 tablespoon lime juice and cilantro or parsley. This is a good quantity for a large party - you may want to cut it in half for a smaller gathering. |
