Title: Come-And-Get-It Sauce for Vegetables Categories: Sauces Yield: 4 Servings 1 c Sour Cream 1/4 c Mayonnaise 2 tb Lemon Juice 1/2 ts Salt 1/4 ts Tobasco Pepper Sauce Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and heat gently. DO NOT ALLOW TO BOIL. Spoon over the vegetables when serving or place them in a casserole topping with the sauce and sprinkling with bread crumbs. Place under the broiler until the crumbs are brown, 1 to 2 minutes. Ideal with cooked fresh asparagus, or broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, green beans and so forth.
