1 1/2 tb Butter or margarine
2 tb All-purpose flour
1 ts Sugar
1 ts Salt
1 ts Dry mustard
Few grains Cayenne pepper
1 Egg; slightly beaten
3/4 c Skimmed milk
1/4 c Vinegar

Melt butter or margarine in top of double boiler. Mix dry ingredients; add
egg, melted butter or margarine, and milk, then very slowly add the
vinegar. Cook until mixture thickens. Cool. Yield: 1-1/4 cups.
