Title: Cookie Mix Categories: Desserts Yield: 2 Servings 9 c Flour 3 1/4 c Brown sugar 2 1/2 c Granulated sugar 4 ts Baking soda 1 tb Salt 4 c Butter, margarine, or Shortening 1. In a large bowl combine flour, sugars, baking soda, and salt; stir to blend. Cut in butter with a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal. 2. Store mix in one large bag or divide into four 4-3/4-cup portions. Mix made with butter or margarine can be stored in freezer up to 4 months. Mix made with shortening can be stored in cupboard up to 6 months. Makes 2 large batches, 6 to 8 dozen cookies.
