Title: Corn Meal Sour Cream Biscuits Categories: Bread Yield: 12 Servings 1 1/2 c Flour 1/2 c Corn meal 1 tb Sugar 2 ts Baking powder 3/4 ts Salt 1/2 ts Soda 1/4 c Shortening 3/4 c Sour cream 1 Egg 1 tb Sesame seeds 2 tb Melted butter From: callie@KUHUB.CC.UKANS.EDU (Carolyn Wiley) Date: 25 May 1995 20:19:33 -0600 This makes really tender and tasty biscuits. Mix first six ingredients together. Mix shortening, sour cream and egg together and then add to dry ingredients. Pat out dough and cut with biscuit cutter.
