Country Meat Loaf
Title: Country Meat Loaf Categories: Tabasco Yield: 8 Servings 1 tb Vegetable oil 2 Celery stalks; minced 1 md Onion; minced 1 lg Garlic clove; crushed 1 16-ounce jar Tabasco® 7 -Spice Chili Recipe 1 lb Lean ground beef 1 lb Ground turkey 1 lg Egg 1/2 c Fresh bread crumbs 1 tb Tabasco® pepper sauce 1 1/2 ts Salt 1 1/2 ts Dried thyme leaves 1 ts Ground cumin In 10-inch skillet, over medium heat in hot oil, cook celery, onion and garlic until tender, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Set aside 1/2 cup Tabasco 7 Spice Chili Recipe. In large bowl, combine remaining chili recipe, ground beef, ground turkey, egg, bread crumbs, TABASCO® pepper sauce, salt, thyme, cumin and cooked celery mixture until well mixed. Preheat oven to 350øF. In 12 x 8-inch baking dish, shape mixture into 10 x 4-inch oval. Brush top with reserved 1/2 cup Tabasco® 7 Spice Chili Recipe. Bake 1 hour. Makes 8 servings. Serving Suggestion: Serve meat loaf with roasted new potatoes, baby carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and green beans.
