Title: Craggy-Topped Fudge Brownies Categories: Cookie Yield: 24 Servings 1 c Sugar 1/2 c Butter or margarine 12 oz Chocolate chips; divided 3 lg Eggs 1 1/3 c Flour 1 ts Vanilla 1/4 ts Baking soda 1/3 c Chopped nuts Date: Sat, 06 Apr 1996 08:23:31 -0500 From: charles moffat Recipe By: Nestle's Best-Loved Cookies Heat sugar & butter in saucepan over low heat, stirring until butter is melted. Remove from heat. Add 1-1/4 cups chips; stir until melted. Stir in eggs. Stir in flour, vanilla & baking soda until combined. Spread into a greased 13 x 9 baking pan. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 18 - 22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out slightly sticky. Sprinkle with remaining chips & nuts while still hot . Cover with foil.
