Title: Cranberry Button Cookies Categories: Cookie Yield: 48 Servings 2 c Flour 1 ts Baking soda 1/2 ts Gbround ginger 1/2 ts Ground nutmeg 1/2 ts Salt 3 c Quick cooking oats 1 c Shortening 1 1/2 c Fresh cranberries; ground 1 1/2 c Firmly packed brown sugar From: Glenn/Sharon Gorman Date: Sat, 30 Jul 1994 15:01:48 GMT Combine flour, baking soda, ginger, nutmeg, salt and oats. Cut in shortening until particles are very fine. Add cranberries and brown sugar. Mix until well blended. Chill 1 hour. Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness and cut into 3-inch rounds.
