Title: Cranberry Chutney 4 Categories: None Yield: 1 Servings 1 Bag Ocean Spray cranberries 1 md Red onion, chopped 1/2 c Almonds, whole 1 md Apple, chopped 2 Navel oranges, chopped 1 c Dry red wine (cabernet -sauvignon, merlot, etc.) 1 c Demerara sugar (or opt for -light brown or turbinado -sugar) 1 ts Grated orange peel 1/2 ts Each: allspcice, cinnmon, -ginger 1/4 Teapsoon ground clove GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Combine all ingredients in a stainless steel pot. Bring to a boil uncovered. Then lower to a simmer and cover for for the remaining cooking time: about 1 hour. The mixture should be thick like a good finished jam or marmalade.
