Title: Crockpot Chicken Marengo Categories: Crockpot, Ethnic, Poultry Yield: 8 Servings 2 Whole fryers; cut up 12 Pearl onions 1 lb Mushrooms; sliced 4 Shallots; chopped 2 Cloves garlic; minced 1 1/2 ts Salt 1/4 ts Pepper 2 ts Thyme 5 Sprigs parsley 2 Whole bay leaves; crumbled 1/2 c Stuffed olives; sliced 16 oz Canned tomatoes 1/2 c Dry white wine Croutons Place onions in bottom of slow cooker; add chicken and mushrooms. In bowl, mix all other ingredients except croutons and add to slow cooker. Cook on low 6-8 hours, on high 3-4 hours, or on automatic 5 hours. Serve with croutons.
