Title: Crunchy Peanut Butter Cookies Categories: All newly t, Cookies Yield: 72 Servings 1/2 c Granulated sugar 1/2 c Firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 ts Salt 1/2 c Butter or margarine 1/2 c Crunchy peanut butter 1 Egg 1/2 ts Vanilla extract 1 c Sifted all purpose flour 1/2 ts Baking soda Cream sugars, salt, butter and peanut butter thoroughly in large mixing bowl. Beat egg and extract into creamed mixture until light and fluffy. Sift together flour and soda. Blend into creamed ingredients gradually. Form into 1" balls and place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheets. With floured fork, make a criss-cross design to flatten cookies. Bake in hot oven 400 for 6-7 minutes or until light brown around edges. Store in airtight container. Yield 6 dozen cookies.
