Curried Shrimp
Title: Curried Shrimp Categories: None Yield: 1 Servings 1 1/2 lb Medium-size shrimp 1 ts Salt 1 ts Cornstarch 1/2 ts Ground ginger 1/2 ts Pepper 1/2 ts Sugar 3 tb Salad oil 3 tb Minced onion 2 ts Curry powder Shell and devein shrimp. In small bowl, combine shrimp, salt, cornstarch, ginger, pepper and sugar. In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot salad oil, cook onion until tender. Stir in curry powder; cook 1 minute. Turn heat to high; add shrimp mixture; cook just until shrimp turn pink and are tender. Serve with cocktail picks. Serves 8.
