Title: Custardy Chicken Bake

Yield: 4 Servings

6 Chicken breast halves or
-thighs
2 tb Vegetable oil
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
1 1/2 c Bisquick baking mix
1 ts Dried tarragon leaves
1/2 ts Salt
1 1/2 c Milk
3 Eggs
Mushroom Sauce #2; see
-recipe

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease baking dish, 13x9x2 inches.

Heat oil in skillet.

Fry chicken until light golden brown.

Place chicken, skin side up, in dish.

Sprinkle with 1/2 Tsp. salt and the pepper.

Beat baking mix, tarragon, 1/2 Tsp. salt, the milk and eggs with hand
beater until smooth.

Pour over chicken. Bake until golden brown, 55 to 60 minutes.

Serve with Mushroom Sauce #2.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.
