Title: Debbie Reynolds' Chicken a la Honolulu Categories: Poultry Yield: 1 Servings 5 lb Broiler-fryers chicken 3 c Pineapple chunks; fresh, Canned or frozen 2 tb Ginger root, grated -OR- 1 ts Ground ginger 1 c Pineapple juice 1 c Soy sauce 2 Cloves garlic, minced 3 tb Oil Clean and cut the fryers. Combine all the above ingredients (with exception of oil) for a marinade. Cover chicken and let stand at least 4 hours. Turn often. Drain. Brown chicken in oil in a heavy skillet.
