Title: Deep Dish Apple Pie

Sugar substitute to equal
-1/3 c
1 tb Cornstarch
1/2 ts Grated lemon rind
2 1/2 ts Lemon juice
1/4 ts Nutmeg
1/2 ts Cinnamon
4 sm Apples; sliced
1 c Flour; sifted
1 ts Salt
1/4 c Reduced calorie margarine
3 tb Cold water

Combine sugar, cornstarch, lemon rind, lemon juice, nutmeg, cinnamon and
apple slices. Place in 9 inch deep dish pie plate or baking dish, set
aside. Combine flour and salt; but in margarine until mixture resembles
cornmeal. Blend in water with fork until all dry ingredients are moistened.

Shape dough in a ball. Roll out on a floured surface and place on top of
apple filling. Bake at 425 degrees for 35 minutes or until brown. Cut into
8 equal slices and serve.

Exchange: for 1 1/2 bread 1/2 fat
