Title: Delicious Apple Pie Categories: Apples, Desserts, Not sent, Pies/tarts, Taste of ho Yield: 8 Servings 3 tb Water 4 ts Cornstarch 1 Egg, beaten 3/4 c Light cream 3/4 c Sugar 1 ts Ground cinnamon 1/4 ts Ground nutmeg 4 md Red Delicious apples, -peeled/sliced Pastry for double-crust pie, -9" size 2 tb Butter or margarine 1 tb Milk 1 tb Cinnamon sugar In a small bowl, mix water and cornstarch until dissolved. Add egg, cream sugar, cinnamo nand nutmeg. place apples in a large bowl; pour cream mixture over and stir to coat. Line a 9" pie pan with half of pastry. Pour apple mixture into crust; dot with butter. top with remaining pastry; flute edges and cut slits in top. Brush with milk and spirnkle with cinnamon-sugar. Bake at 350 F. for 55 minutes or until golden brown. Yield: 6-8 servings.
