Title: Dixie Pork Chops Categories: None Yield: 1 Servings 8 Pork chops 1/2 ts Salt 1/2 ts Sage 4 Tart apples; cored & cut in -rings 1/4 c Brown sugar 2 tb Flour 1 c Hot water 1 tb Vinegar 1/2 c Raisins from: Thelma Quinton Brown chops in hot fat; sprinkle with salt and sage. Place in baking dish; top with apple rings; sprinkle with sugar. Add flour to fat in skillet; blend. Add water and vinegar; cook till thick. Add raisins; pour over chops. Cover baking dish. Bake in 350 degree oven 1 hour. Notes: If I don't have any sage on hand, I substitute poultry seasoning. If using fewer pork chops, cut down on amount of salt, sage, apples, and sugar.
