Title: Dorm Chili Categories: 1, Beef, Chili, Microwave Yield: 4 Servings 1 lb Coarsely ground beef 2 Cloves garlic, finely -chopped 1 md Onion, chopped 1 sm Green pepper, chopped 1 16 oz can stewed tomatoes, -drained 1 8 oz can tomato sauce 1 -2 tbls chili powder, (to -taste) Salt and pepper, to taste Cheddar cheese, optional, -garnish Chopped onion, optional, -garnish Using a 3 quart covered, micro-safe casserole, break up ground beef and add garlic, onion and green pepper. Cover and microwave for 7-8 minutes on high. Stir once to break up beef at the half way point. When beef is no longer pink, drain and stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasonings. Cover and microwave 14-16 minutes. Stir every 5 minutes, When the mixture boils, it's finished. Allow it to set for about 15 minutes to blend flavors.
