Title: Egyptian Rice Categories: Rice Yield: 8 Servings 1 lb Ground beef 1 sm Onion Salt & pepper to taste 3 tb Soy sauce 3 tb Worcestershire sauce 2 cn Beef bouillon soup 1 1/2 c Raw rice 3/4 cn Mushrooms 1/2 c Toasted slivered almonds Chop onion, then brown with meat in small amount of oil. Cook until meat is done. Add salt, pepper, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce & soup. Pour raw rice in but do not mix rice; just pour it in. Simmer on low heat for 30 minutes; add mushrooms & slivered almonds. Cook 2 more minutes. Serves 8 to 10. From the Ft. Bliss, TX.
