Title: Ella Julia's Rhubarb Dessert Categories: Desserts, Rhubarb, Cream Yield: 1 Servings 1 tb Sugar 1 c Flour 1 ts Baking powder 1/2 ts Salt 2 tb Shortening 1 Egg; beaten 1 tb Rich milk or cream; (or a -little more if needed) Mix into a tight dough. Wet spoon and press dough into baking dish. Cover with 3 cups cut up rhubarb. Now sprinkle over it all with 1 package of pink gelatin (dry). Then mix together: 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup flour Mix together and pour over gelatin. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees F..
