Title: English Pie Categories: Pie Yield: 12 Servings 2 c Sugar 1/2 Stick butter 4 Eggs; separated 1 c (heaping) nuts 1 c Raisins; plumped 1/3 ts Allspice 1/3 ts Cloves 1/3 ts Nutmeg 2 Unbaked pie shells Cream butter and sugar together. Beat egg yolks and mix well with creamed ingredients. Add other ingredients except the egg whites; mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture.
