Title: Favorite Corn Bread Categories: Breads - qu, Not sent, Taste of ho Yield: 9 Servings 1 c All-purpose flour 1 c Cornmeal 1/4 c Sugar 4 ts Baking powder 3/4 ts Salt 1 c Milk 2 Eggs 1/4 c Shortening In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add the milk, eggs and shortening; beat for 1 minute. Pour into a greased 9" square baking pan. Bake at 425 F. for 20-25 minutes or until bread is golden brown and tests done.
