Fried Red Pepper Dipping Sauce
Title: Fried Red Pepper Dipping Sauce Categories: Sauces, Salsa, Hot Yield: 1 Servings 10 Ancho peppers, pre-soaked 1/2 c Cooking oil 1 md Onion, chopped 1 cn Tomato paste, 8oz. 1 ts Salt Soak the ancho peppers in warm water until soft, then grind them into a paste. Heat the oil in a frying pan, adding the chopped onion, the ground peppers, tomato paste and salt. Fry for about 1 minute. Recipe courtesy of 'Chile Pepper Magazine'.
