Title: Gingerbread Waffles Categories: Bread Yield: 4 Servings 2 c Sifted cake flour 1 1/2 ts Baking soda 1 1/2 ts Ginger 1/2 ts Cinnamon 1/2 ts Salt 1 Egg; well beaten 1 c Molasses 1/2 c Buttermilk 1/3 c Butter; melted Whipped cream Sift dry ingredients together. Beat egg until light. Add molasses and buttermilk and blend well. Make a hole in dry ingredients. Add egg mixture and melted butter. Mix just to moisten all. Bake in well-greased waffle iron.
