3 c All-purpose flour
4 1/2 ts Baking powder
1 1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Shortening or chilled butter

(my grandmother's recipe)

When making biscuits, the recipe calls for 1-1/2 c. milk (or buttermilk),
but you would omit this when making the biscuit mix.

NOTE: keep mix refrigerated until use
