Title: Grandmother's Cranberry Bread Categories: Bread Yield: 8 Servings 2 c Flour 1 c Sugar 1 1/2 ts Baking powder 1 ts Salt 1/2 ts Baking soda 1/4 c Butter 1 Egg; beaten 1 ts Grated orange peel 3/4 c Orange juice 1 1/2 c Raisins 1 1/2 c Chopped cranberries Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, salt & baking soda into a large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Add egg, orange juice & orange peel all at once; stir just until mixture is evenly moist. Fold in raisins & cranberries.
