Title: Grape Nut Bread Categories: Bakery:, Breads Yield: 1 Servings 1 c Grape nuts 2 c Buttermilk 2 c Sugar 2 Eggs 3 1/2 c Flour 1/2 ts Salt 1 tb Baking soda 2 ts Baking powder Combine buttermilk and grape nuts. Allow to soak for 10 minutes. Beat sugar and eggs together in a large bowl. Add grape nuts mixture. Sift flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder together, and stir thoroughly into the Grape Nuts mixture. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans and bake at 350F for 45 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Makes 20 servings.
