Title: Green Chili Spoon Bread Categories: Breads, Low-fat, Mexican, Posted Yield: 8 Servings 1 c Water 1 tb Margarine 1 1/2 ts Sugar 1/2 ts Salt 2/3 c Yellow Cornmeal 2 Eggs; Well Beaten 4 oz Old El Paso Chopped Green -Chilies; Well Drained 1/2 c Skim Milk Preheat oven to 375. Bring water, margarine, sugar and salt to a boil in a saucepan. Slowly add cornmeal, whisking constantly. Bring to simmering. Remove from heat. Quickly whisk in milk, eggs and green chilies. Pour into 5 cup souffle dish that has been sprayed with Pam. Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.
