Hamburger Buns
Title: Hamburger Buns Categories: Bread machi, Dough cycle Yield: 8 Servings 1 pk Active dry Yeast 3 1/2 c Bread Flour 1/3 c Parmesan Cheese 2 Tbls Sugar 1 ts Salt 1/2 c Milk 1/2 c Water 2 Tbls Shortening 1 Egg; or equiv to 1 This is a small batch I use in my bread machine. Mix on manual setting, when completed divide into 8 pieces form into balls then place on greased cookie sheet. Flatten each ball into a 4" diameter. Cover; let rise in warm place 15 to 30 min.You can if you wish brush buns with beaten egg and sprinkle with additional parmesan cheese.
