Title: Herbed Breadsticks Categories: Breads Yield: 6 Servings 1 Loaf French bread, (8-ounce) 1 tb Olive oil 1 Garlic clove, halved 3/4 ts Dried oregano 3/4 ts Dried basil 1/8 ts Salt Cut bread in half crosswise, and cut each piece in half horizontally. Brush oil evenly over cut sides of bread; rub with garlic. Sprinkle oregano, basil, and salt over bread. Cut each piece of bread lengthwise into 3 sticks. Place breadsticks on a baking sheet; bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes or until crisp. Yield: 1 dozen (serving size: 2 breadsticks).
