Title: Huckleberry Pie

3 c Huckleberries,fresh or froze
1 c Grated apple
1 c Sugar
2 tb Flour
1/2 ts Almond extract
1 ds Salt
Pastry for a double crust pi

Note: The apple does not alter the flavor,but stretches the
precious berries.
Measure ingredients into a two quart mixing bowl and mix well.Pour
into unbaked pie shell.Cover with top crust and bake @ 375 degrees
for about one hour or until nicely browned.Makes one 9" pie.
