Title: Kathy's Raisen Custard Pie

Yield: 6 Servings

1 c Raisens
3/4 c Water
2 Eggs, seperated
2 tb Cornstarch
1 tb Butter
3/4 c Sugar
Pinch of Salt
1/2 ts Vanilla
1 c Milk
1 Prebaked 9-inch pie shell

1. Combine raisens, with water, cook about 5 minutes in sauce pan, remove
from heat, and cool. 2. Mix egg yolks, cornstarch, butter, sugar, salt,
vanilla, and milk in sauce pan. Cook until mixture thickens, stirring
constantantly. Stir in raisen mixture. Pour into pie shell. 3. Put egg
white in small bowl, add sugar to taste, whip into stiff peaks. Spread over
pie. Bake at 350øF for 15 minutes of until lightly brown.
